Need help with craft stability.

Tried wings, though granted I suck with those atm. Tried some pdi's which seemed to even its flight out however..... my biggest issue is its AI brain going and having random and sudden derp moments where reguardless of settings, every now and then it just.... suddenly feels like flying straight for water, or its decided it must return home to its own world and fly into space.

Every time it does this I've reconfigured its thruster systems to try to off set these derp moments but just when it might be fixed.... it then has a big derp and then forgets its own controls and dive bombs the water or space.


It's intended goal is a very fast interseptor. Its primary test targets are flying squirrles which it handles nicely.... until it derps out. The balloons are to help it recover from a water derp but... that no help in space lol.

Until the derps though, it behaves. Dodges and out runs missiles and rarely ever rams stuff.... but then the derp strikes.... then it wants to hide under water or in space.


I've tried everything I know to off set it with out a complete redesign which I'm hoping to avoid, researched a bit on google but wings and I (or the craft its self) do not like each other and.... yeah. I want to keep its speed and gun but its controls while they are strong enough to pull it out of sharp manouvers, just.... don't when it derps. Configuring its AI seems to have little effect for guidelines, when it derps it just ceases to work with assigned alt settings.

Use aerial bombing instead of plane control. The dive you do randomly is the plane control axis switching to try and get back into attack possition. I think its a bug.

Its using the "Bombing run airplane AI" right now because it does not stop to turn with that one. The hover craft wants to stop to turn which.... leaves it a sitting duck and a very poor interseptor as a result.

Alrighty Figured out you don't mean a card, using that AI now and as long as I don't allow it to bank much so far.... it has yet to have a 'derp' and its faced off 10 squirrels now for testing.
