Spin Block Placement
Is there a way to place spin blocks without having to switch back to hull build every time i place one? I'm building a bigger version of the Deep Water Guard's Moray and will be placing massive amounts of them to keep it in air.

i`m pretty sure spin blocks create a second grid that is attached to the first one .

So that is why you have to switch between the two whenever you want to make changes to one or the other . So yeah, i`m pretty sure the answer to your question is no.

Ok, I didn't think so but I wanted to make sure.

Why are you using spin blocks to keep it in the air? When not dedicated heliblades which are less laggy?

spin blocks are more CPU heavy cause the physic of the blocks on it gets calculated and stuff
thats why you should use Dedicated Helispinners if you want to create probellers

To tell you the truth I thought the dedicated helispinners went on the spinblocks. I feel stupid now. But I guess that solves that problem.

There will eventually come a time when you need to place a lot of spin blocks or turrets and when that day comes, remember you can build one turret or spin block then save it as a subobject, much like a prefab, but attached to a spin block or turret.

Yeah, somehow I knew that but I didn't know this. I also decided to base my thruster crafts off of the Hypatos and Devourer rather than the Moray.
