Missile Configuration
I've been designing a ship all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day and im super freaking happy with it. Except for one thing! the missiles im using seem to just not have that OOMPH im looking for. heres what my setup is
Variable Thruster
Fuel Tank
Fuel Tank
Fins
Fins
Target Prediction Guidance
One Turn
Fragmentation (at about 70 degrees)
Explosive Warhead
Laser Designator Receiver

so what i want to know is what difference can i build here to give it a much better impact. I feel for how big they are they are really weak. Any input would help thank you!!

set the frag cone angle to less then 10 and you will find missile punch through alot, heck switch out the HE warhead for another <10 frag and even metal beams get punched through

Move the fins to the very back as they have the highest drag.

whats the missile for, if its antiship you can set the thruster low (200-500), its slower and more vunrable to active defences, and them maybe switch out a fuel tank for a warhead

you dont need One Turn when you have Laser Designator on it,
HE is crap unless you use torpedos just use small cone Frag

thanks for the replies, didnt think about not needing one turn. i took all the info into the account and finally got the missile i was looking for. thanks guys
