PITCH ONLY CONTROL SURFACES Only go on the rear wings for this plane. I had them on the main wing and once I removed them and only had them on the Tail wings my plane stopped diving totally. AILERONS go on the wing tips ie. about the last 25%. Face towards the front and press G to align them correctly. ALIGN your mass and thrust or get it close.
Another thing; whenever I finally got the bastard to fly it would never go straight to my waypoints when I gave it commands. It would pitch toward the direction but would give up when it was 10-20 degrees from pointing directly at the line of travel. This made it take a meandering circle transit to the waypoint and was frustrating me to no end. I thought my PITCH PID was to blame and messed with it endlessly only to find that the real culprit is an option in the AIRPLANE 1.0 MANOEUVRE routine under turning settings. Make sure that YAWING turn above "X" Degrees is turned to 0 or close to it. This was at 10 Degrees by default and I'm guessing its to make it so that the approach is not dead on to make them harder to hit?
Hope this helps.
