how do i make a bomber
after a bit of messing around i managed to make an aps bomb shell powerful enough for me, but it very hard making a proper plane that can use it; the ai is simply terrible and many times the plane will just keep flying in a straight line for no reason even tho the thrusters work just fine when i take control of it. any ideas?

Check DWG barracudas bombers. They bombing fine
Or download bombers from workshop.

You can't exclude basic principals that every bomber have - going above target. Barracuda's bombers doing it fine, and shooting bombs a lot. So, what the problem study how they works and use it as base for own desing?

And highly likely, if you wanna complex bomber that go throught, shoot, keeping distance while recharghing, then moving at target for another bomb drop - you need LUA.

how does your Air AI look like?

for bombers lomg strafing runs work well

a "hovercraft" + naval ai would give you more of a gunship style of plane

well the bomb shell ive made has a pretty good range so i was thinking about having the ai broadsiding and keeping a distance to avoid getting shot by aa

at 500m it has good range
