How do I actually turn the engine on?

So I finally made the engine, everything is in place, but how do I actually turn it on? There is nothing on google an I'm gonna die soon if my heart stone is not charged... :I

engines also need fuel, make sure you have some fuel storage on your craft, also double check if the engine is connected properly (engine block/crank shaft facing right way ect)

Fuel engines are automatically controlled, depending on power requirements. You don't have to turn them "on" (unless you limited their RPM to 0, which effectively does turn them off)

is there a way you can turn off and on Gas engine by Lua??
if so can you show me??
Sometimes you don't need the engine on while electric can do.
