The thing is that your shell doesnt really fit, but it loads a shorter shell once you tried to edit your shell or cannon gauge it will load 1 or 2 but will stop once its back to normal...
Sorry if im wrong...
I don't recall having that issue with solid clips.
Are all the ammo inputs linked to the same ammo controller?
That is the only thing I can think of...
Each ammo input takes 2minutes to load one 500mm x 8m shell, so maybe you aren't waiting long enough/need more ammo inputs?
Couple days later seems the issue maybe has resolved its self? One point it was giving the error, fire the gun, it loads, fire it again, the error again shows up, ect. Not sure whats going on with that. Only effects that gun too, I can load the same ammo in other guns with the same round and clip just fine.
I am guessing you might have changed shell design (which does not affect shells already loaded in clips/magazines, causing it to not load a new shell that was not valid for some reason) or accidentally linked some ammo inputs to the wrong ammo customizer.
Out of curiosity, what type of shell design are you using? A single shell type? Or several shell types?
What guage of gun?
Not sure tbh, the problem has only surfaced with the ship its self none of my other designes. And at that sometimes it would resolve its self, then show up again later.
As for the round it was 500mm heat round with 2-3 HE parts with a shaped charge head, rest gun powder.
I made another 500mm size 8 clip cannon and the problem did not show its self with any of its..... 10+ clips each cannon of the quad turret. (4 advanced cannons in one turret) so I dunnu what spawns the bug, the same ammo does not seem to be the cause..... part of me wonders if I just happen to find a buggy design? Experence from Robot arena 2 has taught me it can happen from otherwise stable parts.
