what is the best shell type for the casemate simple weapons?

i been having issues with the casemates as i can't find out what the best shell type is for them i'm trying to find one that can break metal blocks but the only one i found that can kinda do that is have a bunch of gunpowder casings behind a sabot head and that doesn't even break on the first hit! so please tell me what is the best armor penetrating shell type is for the casemate!

That's just not gonna happen. Simple weapons are not powerful enough to do what you're describing, you're gonna have to make an actual gun for that.

probably the only option against heavily armoured opponents is HESH, HEAT or EMP to get at the vulnerable components behind the armour, but nothing at that calibre is going to actually break it.

If you want to use 'small' guns against armor, realistically your best choice would be HEAT (Shaped Charge Head). However, the 2 casemate simple weapons are best used not in that role, realistically they should be firing HESH (Squash Head) to mess up internals or HE to strip away externals. Try something like 3 casings, 2 warhead bodies, and any of the 3 heads I said (HE, Shaped, or Squash).
