Missile ammo costs

anyone know how much ammo each section of a missile it costs to reload for each of the missile sizes?

reason i am asking i am planning to make crafts to hold only the minimum require ammo storage to reload weapons, and have support crafts further back have a large ammo, material, and fuel storage to share resources with a fleet/formation


*also little rant* feels like missiles take way too much ammo to reload would perfer if they used less ammo, and wouldn't mind if the firepower was scaled down to match. it is a real problem when trying to make small crafts using missiles as even small ones will chew through 1000 ammo storage and ammo refill rate easily if you don't have any ammo processors

A single block small missile rack needs about 400 ammo (100 per missile) last I looked. A one block medium is the same. A one block large (useless as it is) is 800.

... really? well ♥♥♥♥, thought it be somewhere around 200... but 400 per block!? how did we go from the old missiles using 25 per block, to 400 per block.

My numbers might be slightly off, but I've got a fighter which used two small rail launchers. I've got 1200 ammo on board. After the first volley and reload, I'm left with 400 ammo.

(Edit: Divide my numbers by 3, I forgot they were 3m long.)

nvm decided to do a small test and found small missiles uses up 100 ammo per block with 25 per missile. medium uses up 100 ammo per block, and large uses 400 ammo per block

So my initial remembering was right, before the edits.

I've been at work for a few days and forgot the specific numbers, but I was close.

ammo costs are 4x as much but dmg values are 10x as much so over all its a buff but they cost more to use
