Local Weapon controller? Rip
I'm sure i'm doing something wrong here, I've taken a break from this game for like 5 months and for some reason I can't remember how to make a Local Weapon Controller work properly. I'm making some ADV Cannons and see if they do well and ultimately put them on my ship. But I can't make a Local Weapon Controller control the turret.

I'm not gonna post the cannons because there is no point, I currently have.
-Advanced Cannon on a 1 Axis Turret.
-The LWC is in range of the axis/turret
-I have an AI with transmitter/Radar/etc
-I don't have a failsafe FYI
-I have Ammo
-I have material on the ''Testing Platform''.

Also, The weapon controller says (When hovering over it) Local Weapon Controller is controlling 1 Weapon(s), 0 of these weapons can shoot at the current target's of the AI mainframe.

But why can it not target the current target? I've tried manually shooting it and it goes just fine. It can turn/Elevate etc etc.

Unless they added something new to the AI in the past 5 months, I have no idea what the problem is.

Are you sure it controls the turret's base-block (and not just the fireing piece)?
Double-checked that the LWC is connected to the AI?
Did you check if the AI is actually detecting a target (detection-view avatar-item, or Q-menu of a detection-block)?

Yes checked it all.
Got it to the base of the turret, The Turret Axis if you will.
The LWC is connected via a transmitter to reciever
AI is detecting the target.

Again, I am no new player to this game, it's probably something sneaky screwing my turret.

Could you upload the blueprint? Either upload the .blueprint (not .blueprint_backup) somewhere (found in MyDocuments, From the Depths, Player Profiles, MyProfileName, Constructables), or upload it to the workshop (FtD's main-menu, right hand side modding and stuff, vehicle workshop). Usually much easier to find the problem that way.

heres the stupid piece or crap.

It works. What I suspect is happening on your end is that the shell is unable to reach the target.

81m/s is slow. Hell, 200m/s is generally considered slow for a shell (allthough fast-ish for CRAM). The shell would simply be pulled into the water by gravity before it hits the target - try loading a Marauder in at 250m range or less (and press "C" and disable the AI of the Marauder), it should try to open fire.

Wait what? It works? Maybe I should reinstall my game, I just made a 300M/S advanced cannon and it still won't work. prob something missing in my game files.

I'm such an idiot, i turned the detection off, so the AI couldn't detect anything even with radar. I put it off in the options menu, i'm an idiot. Thanks for your help anyway :P

Ah, yes that'd explain it. I have it at default (which is 0.1 iIrc), so it fired "roughly in the right direction" for me.
