Two ACB questions - Trigger based on no enemies detected and bearing?

I'm trying to get an ACB to perform an action on the condition that either no enemies are detected, or at least there are none within 3000+ meters.

Specifically, to make a piston lower back down to 0. For some reason I can't get it to work.

It seems you can tell it for sure to do stuff based upon an enemy detected at x range, but I don't see how to say if an enemy ISN'T detected. The piston is in range of the ACBs range setting.

The best I can do to get this to work is set it to trigger if the craft's battery is within 99%-100% since that won't be the case if it is in combat, but I'd prefer something a bit more proper if possible.


2.

I am also trying to get certain pistons to raise when an enemy is in a bearing of 1 to 179, and to lower if enemy bearing is -1 to -179. They stay raised no matter which size of the craft the enemy is on. Could be I just don't properly understand the system here. The goal is for some pistons to raise when targets are considered on the starboard side, and lower if they are on the port side and for other pistons to do the opposite.

Anyone know how to best achieve these two things?

i think you can have it activate a custom control if there is an enemy in range and have an inverter to do what you need to

There is a setting to invert the condition, a checkbox to the right of the "Configure" options. The problem is that, at the default size of the window(at least on my 1920x1080 resolution), the checkbox is not easily visible - you have to expand the ACB settings window by dragging out from the bottom bar of the window or reduce the font size.

Yes, that was the problem, I run at the same resolution. Clicking that little box did have the desired effect, thanks to you both.
