APS cannon muzzle velocity 0 m/s
Hi,

I have made lots of APS cannons. Mostly machine guns. But I have never encountered a problem with muzzle velocity. This is my first big cannon and no matter what I try the shell just kind of glitches infront of the barrel and then goes to the nth dimension or something idk. Making the barrel really long doesn't help. I have no gunpowder casings on the shell but after adding one it made no difference. I am using a 293mm gauge barrel with a 155mm shell.

Thanks,

Xpali

Without actually looking at the cannon I can only say double check a few things:

Ensure you have gunpowder (or rail casings if your using a railgun)

Make sure your ammo matches your gun size (the slider)

Double check the shell size vs your autoloaders size

Or you can make a drop box account and upload the BP to there and give us/me the link and I'll take a look at it =P You can also go to the official forums and upload the BP there, plenty of people woul dbe willing to look/help.

How many gunpowder casings do you need???

Technically, you only need 1. The more gunpowder you have the more speed (generally) you'll get out of the shell.

I tried putting one on and it does nothing.

My main go to shell is a 1 block round with a gunpowder/HE. Goes 180ish m/s at 500M.

I'll try adding one and waiting for it to fully reload I guess. Maybe it will help.

If your gun carries... lets say 300 rounds and it's fully loaded but you only fire off 25 shells and change the ammo it'll load the new ammo. But you'll have 275 of the old shells still in it. Change the number of barrels really quick and it'll reset your ammo count to 0.

Thanks I think it will solve the problem.
