Give me a crash course tutorial in Warp Drives
I have no idea how they work, what is a "cycle", etc.

Hello. Not all to sure but it is something along the lines of the ratio of warp coils to the length of the vehicles. Connecting the warp chargers into the the controllers charges it. (make sure to terminate the warp rods) You can/should use ACBs to control the warping. Cycle from stand-by to charging to warp. This is all I can really think of.

Well, I messed with 'em briefly on their birthday. Seems putting the entire length of the ship is the best. Also you can put more than one tube. Also the more voluminous your vessel the harder they will have to work.

But... How do they work? What the hell do the ACB options mean?

Yes you should use ACB's to control the "Cycle". which is pretty much meaning "How often does it go off? and How full of juice will it be when it does".

That doesn't tell me much

I fiddled with the warp drives a tad once, so I can't give you *super* advanced answers, but simply said, the larger your craft (and presumably warp rod length), the more time it will take for it to reach full "charge" (To counteract this, you just add more chargers (and more engine power, bla bla bla.) )
(The max distance your vehicle will leap when activated depends on warp rod length and mass of the vehicle, and also the charge it is set to use.))

You can also only activate it when it's not fully charged (less wait time between jumps, and less power required too.*)
**On another note, I do not know if having a half-craft length warp rod going at full charge is less effective than a full-length rod discharging at on 50%**
I may have missed a bit of things, but that's all I can remember. *Looking back at this 1 minute later, this is not nearly as in - depth as I thought it was.*
