Mystery Animal in Lost Caves
Anyone knows what mystery animal is in Lost Caves??

It's called Wendigo, and it will spawn in the evening when you see some bones scattered throughout the caves, followed by floating green flakes and eerie chiming sound. Check the 100% achievements guide (or the Hunter's manual in-game) for more details.
