Hi Mark (the developer)

I was aware of "Mind Over Magnet" from following your YouTube Channel.

I just finished the game.

Overall, it was good! It was well paced, and ended while it was still fun. The story and characters were just substantial enough to be charming. If I got stuck on a puzzle, I took a break and usually solved it quickly upon returning. This is a good first commercial game.

Below is some feedback. I didn't have any significant issues, so these points are fairly minor.

(Spoilers? Kinda?)

-After Min and Max were introduced, it felt like Magnus didn't have anything which made him unique. I hoped that he'd gain some special utility (his weight held down big switches, changed size etc). Simply having to contend with an additional magnet was enough to make the ending puzzles challenging, but it felt like you could have done more with Magnus.

-There was one puzzle at the end I solved by having Min/Max lift Magnus up with a magnet beam. Assuming this was the intended solution, it felt a bit awkward fitting a big magnet on top of a small magnet.

-I had the game offer a hint prompt once after I'd been stuck for too long. I think this is a good feature. However, since I was determined to not use hints I got annoyed that the prompt never went away. Maybe there was a way to get rid of it I didn't notice, but I only saw the Start button prompt and was afraid that pressing it would give me the hint I didn't want.

-It felt too easy to get stuck in a situation where I'd have to restart. The restart button mostly addressed this, but the fact it's so common to get stuck felt like a design problem.

-I liked that the end credits were playable, but they could have used things to play with. Magnet beam, etc. As it is I just picked up the magnets a few times and then stood still.

-It would have been nice if finishing the story mode unlocked extra or harder levels for a challenge mode, such as in Portal.
