I noticed the original was removed from steam store

And I still own it. Will previous buyers of the non-special edition be able to claim this for free? Or do we have to re-buy it? From the looks of the features, it has nothing added to the original. Is it just an upscaled version of the game?

The only thing added is achievements/trading cards/soundtrack/commentary.
The store page mentions nothing about updating the graphics or game at all.

They're forcing previous owners like us to buy the Special Edition... and they haven't confirmed if the broken parts of the game have been fixed, only new useless "features" that they could have been easily added as a DLC to our game. A real shame

What it comes down to is $5 for a commentary track and steam achievements... The soundtrack is already free on their website. Lesser developers have added more, for free.

Everyone at Daedalic Entertainment has started smoking crack, at least I hope that's their excuse.

To add insult to injury, people who own this game on GOG will get the Special Edition upgrade for free.

I played it in French and didn't have to suffer the English voice.

That actually sounds so much more tolerable. I could play through in French or the original German with subs and be fine. If there are language options in this version, I might finally finish this thing.
