Help, missing cog

[MedTech#1]

I am trying to finish this game but just ran into a bug. I am missing a cog to open the door in Bando's back room. I did repair the two halves but am left with only 4 cogs. The walk through shows a total of five. I can't figure out what happened to the fifth one. Any ideas?

Its not a bug. You only need 1 cog (the one you repair) the other 4 are in the machine already. You have to move them.

I know that...however, I am still missing one. I will try to post a screen shot to show you that even with the one I fixed there are only 4 that can be moved around.

I can't figure out how to put the screen shots in this discussion. I did upload them and my profile is public. If you go to my games, Whispered world and view screen shots you can see them there. Thanks, Faedrill, for any help you can give. I wanted to use a save game file from Daedalic but they don't have a file from the current version, only the older version.

Nevermind. I found a save game prior to repairing the cogwheel and was finally able to repair it and open the door. I don't know what happened to the fifth cog in my first save but thank you for your prompt attention!
