The Solo Otherworld dungeons are doable at 60 as well, and they can drop the same stuff as the lvl 65 party/hell versions do, just at a much lower drop rate. Or try and get carried by 70s who steamroll through Party/Hell easily.
There's also OW: Port Skandia, which drops tons lvl 1-9 fortification materials and has a chance of spawning eidolons after each mini-boss kill. If you can AoE well and have some lifesteal, this is pretty easy.
You can also try Infernal Abyss and Whirlpool Abyss. Can get the fragment/key of the bosses in there and farm shards to eventually make some weapons.
Do the BB/VV world bosses and you can get tons of LP, which you can use to make bags to sell. Or if you're lucky you can get the Baneloth Scythe weapon costume.
If you aren't already doing it, archeology can make good money or get you loot to use. I got the 90% speed mount from the treasure map within the first week of playing and recently dug up a 139% lvl 65 armor that sold for 3k. And I regularly dig up stuff worth 5-50g that sell quick.
1. Guess im gonna keep trying to craft armor then.
2. Ive looked today just for ppl who were around my lvl to get some dungeons going , but only found 1. Solo is too hard atm , most of the time i just get steamrolled by 2-3 enemies if im not very careful.
3. I tried the infernal one and got into the 2. room then i had to give up because the enemies were to strong, i couldnt even finish 1 enemy before i went down over and over again.
Ow Port Skandia i just got destroyed , those bunnies are insane. I died like 15 times until i reached the boss just to get killed by 2 hits from him. (Normal , not carpet ones).
And im definitly going to check out archelogoy , what kept me away till now was the fact that the eq is so damn expensive, i only made 80 gold on my way to lvl 60.
Farming alchemy materials might be good too.
2-3g for archeology isn't a 'lucky day'. You do it for the payoff when you get a 700g mount or 3000g armor to sell. And doing it for only 5 days is nothing.
Don't know about selling Luminous SSs, but if it takes you 45min to clear Skandia, you were wasting your time no matter what they sell for. You do Skandia/Helonia more for yourself than anything(Eidolon spawns and SSs/fort scrolls to upgrade yourself)
I hope you know that you can buy pre-made cores off the AH too. 'junk cores', with less than ideal stats, can be as low as 5g. My first couple crafted weapons and sets of armor were all made with 5-15g junk cores. There's no reason to buy the core recipe right off the bat, when you have no idea how to make money yet.
And personally, I would have used that 120g to flip a few items on the AH before buying that recipe. When I made my first 200g grinding dungeons, I flipped items for a few days until I had ~500g, then started buying the recipes I needed while still having money to spare.
Anyway, I guess it's your choice to give up.
For my tachi ive needed a vengance core, ive looked for the cheapest and that was a 100g Spd+2% core. And i guess with rare gems you mean things like diamonds/tiger eye stones/etc, because those are in 10 Stacks for 200 silver in the AH.
Sadly i dont have a clue which items i could trade favourably to make gold out of it from buying them, because i can only go after the Ah prices and those are unstable as hell.
I'm going to guess you don't have any life steal equipment either yet right? That makes soloing way easier. Grab a lvl 58 blue quality nocturnal weapon off the AH for your secondary weapon slot. Should only be like 5-15g for a plain one and makes all the difference. If you're secondary class is Brawler, then you can also use Meira's freezing Katars, which has unlisted life steal.
And no, the gems you're trying to sell are either wrong(Diamonds are definitely worthless) or the economy of your server is just that much different than the one I'm on, because the ones I listed a few posts back are constantly bought and sold for 2-2.5g each in trade chat on Hydra.
AH prices being unstable is one the main reasons it's so easy to make money on it. I've bought costumes listed for 150g and sold them for 450g later that day, same with Armor i bought for 1500g one day and sold for 2000g a few days later. etc.
I understand that i only need the expensive ones for higher Weapons, what ive tried to tell you is that the 100g for 2%spd , is the "cheapest" core which i found that is a vengenance type and if im not dumb , my tachi recipe says i need a vengenance core to craft the weapon (which has -25% crit dmg from bosses), so that one should help a lot, but im definitly now gonna log in and look for a blue nocturnal katar.
And that weapon is the next "tier" for me, my weapons are lvl 60 atm and my equip is at lvl 58 , only ring neclace and back is 55.
Edit: Nocturnal Shadowcraft katars 117% lvl 58 cost 49 Gold
I seriously find it hard to believe that there are never any +10% healing, knockback, or whatever other crappy vengeance cores for dirt cheap on the AH for you. Keep looking, is all I have to say, because they're there. Looking at my AH right now, 17g for a Stealth vengeance core, the next 5 cores are 25g, all reasonable. Eagle Eye cores(which I use), there are 4 currently at 10g.
Another option is getting a low % yellow weapon off the AH. I bought a 117% lvl 65 katar for 100g a few weeks ago after I got tired of rolling crappy % crafted katars for the last 5 levels.
50g is fine for a nocturnal weapon, if that's all you see after a few days of looking. better than the 1000g+ a Nocturnal core costs. I was expecting you to counter with a 'I ONLY SEE THESE FOR 500G ON MY SERVER' or something lol. I'm looking at my AH right now and there are two nocturnal katars for 5g and one for 35g. /shrug
But seriously, I'm on what I thought was the lowest pop server of the 3 and don't see any of the issues you keep bringing up to counter my advice. I'm really curious now, what server are you on that has such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ economy? I mean, if you want to quit so badly, don't let me stop you. I'm done.
I actually do like and enjoy the game , the reason im frustrated is probably that i was a long time World of Warcraft player and im kinda spoiled in the way , that you could obtain the gear necessary to do dungeons with groups/hell or even raids in lower dungeons or through quests. Atm its just frustrating that daily quests give less than a % of exp and no silver at all. A lot of ppl told me that after 65 its getting a lot better and that im gonna be rich as ♥♥♥♥ in no time and build myself gear with a nocturnal core.
Pretty sure I mentioned this previously, but you should be doing bb/vv bosses since they give tons of LP. It's simple if your server has a group dedicated to mapping out times like these guys:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rGBr8K8OrWB8vff4N-AwN3yk7EI41JVGtcB2SX_XuhU/htmlview?sle=true#
After 2 or 3 runs, you should easily have enough LP to make a 10 slot backpack, which sell for 200g+.(on Hydra) i just recently filled my inventory with all 20 slotters so I'll probably start selling some myself soon. There's also a small chance at legendaries and a weapon custume, which sell for a lot.
I'm a 6+yr WoW vet too, and was that guy who was the richest(from playing the AH) and in the top hardcore raiding guild on the server so that could be why I can't comprehend how much trouble some people have making gold in these types of games lol.
I agree it's wierd how quests and stuff really don't give any gold, but I think vendoring greens you get in dungeons is what you're supposed to do instead. A full pt/hell run of all the OW dungeons gets you like 5+ stacks of armor/weapon crates(~6-8g worth usually), on top of the 200-300s per boss and whatever the trash mobs drop.
And it only gets better at 65+ if you put the work in. Very few people will want to carry you through OW pt/hell, Dragons or ST, if you're undergeared and those are the places that will make you rich due to stuff like legendary drops. So i would still try to gear up as best as you can and not give your hopes up for a free ride at 65+.
Okay, now I'm done. later.
1-Abalastren Temple = Each weapon costs 20-45g (Boss Drop 50g)
2-Gydaie Glen= Each weapon costs 35-50g (Boss drop 60g)
3-Miner Steppe= Each weapon costs 50-60g (Boss drop 70g)
4-Deep Cavern and Candeo Core= Each weapon costs 60-70g (Boss drop 99g)
5-Ghost Weep,Ozymand Temple,Wrathborne Temple= Each weapon costs 70-89g
(Boss drop 125g)
Another tip:
1- AT(Solo)=450-575g
AT(Party or Hell)=575-655g
2-GG(S)=545-625g
GG(P,H)=645-770g
3-MS(S)=700-780g
MS(P,H)=780-860g

DP,CC(P,H)=875-975g
5-GW,OT,WT(S)=1000-1200g

I get between these number of gold all time
but you are very lucky so:
