read some guides there are 100 of them
the best would be to find active and good raid guild so you can get fast items/gold and help ^^
pve you are fine with the basic sets you can craft and get (party mode for easier dungeons)
good luck
For PvP: Tachi, Gunslinger, Katar and Sorcerer are insanely good to play with.
A combo of Sorcerer and Bard is usually one of the strongest things to have, regardless
which one is main. Sorcerer main = kills / stuns faster, Bard main = survives longer / heals
faster.
However, I do not recommend wasting a crapton into PvP gear or anything. Focus more
on PvE so you can participate in skytower raids or similar.
Basically, anything is good in PvE, but a Guardian and a Bard main in higher dungeons are almost essential.
If you want to play like a psycho you have to watch videos of people doing hell dungeons as a bard ... have fun ? Not
I read about a guide where you could do a team build without a guardian but a Sorc for tanking instead, as the problem wasn't the Zaahir incarnations or Zaahir himself, but rather the mobs, and correct me if I am wrong, but stuns work EVERY time on mobs and suffer not like a 30s cooldown for debuffs like on bosses, correct?
Anyways, talking about higher dungeons, I was actually pointing out Sky Tower, 5F+.
EDIT: From how you describe how bards run hell dngns it feels like you are talking about soloing the Hell Mode, which is a stupid thing to begin with ô_o
Their DoT + Crit skills can easily mop up in pvp if you have the right gear
and subclass, but the envoy "Bat Fang" as well as the skill "Dancing / Spinning
Balisong" only gain the FULL potential when mobbing.
With high evasion (normal for duelist), non-red-carpet attacks should harm you less
than usually, bat fang gives you 3% of dmg done back as health (stacks with mobs
hit by it logically) and the heals from Dancing Balisong stack with the number of
targets hit. Example: You have like 33,000HP, and Dancing Balisong regens 3,500HP
on paper. However, if you hit 5 mobs, you dont regen a mere 3,500, but a whopping
17,500HP instead.
With cooldown lowering and rotating the small AoE skills from Duelist you have,
"Slash Cut", "Deadly Wink" and "Dancing Balisong" along with high EVA, you can
keep yourself alive even in a horde of 10 mobs or even more, depending on the
dungeon.
Yes you are right .. Sorc. are really overpowered at the moment and your stuns/sleeps work always 100 % but it takes much more "skill" to control them rather than spam you whirle axe 99% ... I prefer partys too .. alone is boring and i cant undertstand people doing party mode alone ... you can help weaker player so much if you party with them (teamplay is the best)
xoxo
nerf on the stun (sleep) time of the sleep totem. Skill however is something I fail to see...
Use the trick to auto-follow people in pvp, immobilize, sleep totem, spam dot skills, sleep totem again, rinse and repeat. with full spd, you get a sleep totem once one is gone.
Basically the only core part is ACCuracy for Sorcerer. If he has that, gg.
And, yuss, parties are a lot more fun and more satisfying if you actually heal or revive others
or save them from their inevitible demise^^
- Unlike sleep totem, normal stuns can only be applied to players every 30 seconds.
- If the enemy has increased Accuracy, no Evasion in the world will save you.
- They are almost purely burst damage. A main guard or a tanky sub guard with reflects
will destroy you. (personal experience as a mediocre guard)
Grenadier might be a intresting try in PvP since not many people do that. You will get 20% free acc to deal with eva users, ranged attacks to attack your enemies before they realise it.
I haven´t experimented with it since I barely do PvP.
True, Sorcerer is now one of the most OP classes in PvP, but every class can do some recent things if build and used well.
thats why I dont play PVP :D
