Holy Sword subclass
i have a lvl 78 holy sword with subclass bard
i tried ravager but i rarely used any ravager attack to charge up the dmg bonus meter thingy (holy sword has lots of good attacks so i dont think another dmg class is rly that important)
are there any other viable subclasses?

Besides Bard sub being one of the most excellent choices for Holy Sword, other options:

- Ninja -

Ninja-sub gives you a bit of range, additional refreshable detailed damage from Kunai Storm, another viable advanced mastery option for Storm Blades, Storm Blades itself (which is one of the hardest hitting attacks in the game) and a nice lifeleech (Bloody Thorn) which offers 5% lifesteal along with buffing your damage, which is stackable up to 3 times. Last but not least, this is one of the classes that offers you ultimate skills, so it is an excellent pick.

- Brawler -

Being more of a melee toolbox, the Brawler-sub offers a small self-heal, another flat defense reduction, a faster stun that does not require you to have a holy charge ready, two more gap closers and a nifty single-target burst skill if you want another burst attack in your arsenal. Along with that, Brawler is the second out of 3 (recommended) classes that offer ultimate skills, offering a 10% lifeleech skill and another huge flat defense reduction, which gives you the highest combined amount of flat defense reduction total (Charged Dry Bones, Swift Strike and Break Pick).

- Sorcerer -

The ranged toolbox per sé, Sorcerer-sub offers you a removal of debuffs every 9 seconds, the ability to lock a single in place for a short moment, two DOT attacks, a 10% lifeleech with possibly the lowest cooldown of all lifeleech skills and an AOE sleep as an excellent crowd control option. The main touch of Sorcerer-sub is the 10% lifeleech, which helps suplementing your health in boss fights even when your Nocturnal weapon would usually turn on you.

i tried ninja but the attacks felt a little slow and the dmg was underwhelming
the heal only healed me for about 10-15% hp and i had no chance for stacking the buffs and debuffs because of the long cooldowns (i barely have spd on my gear so i might get better with ninja once my gear gets some of it)

The main issue in there is the lack of stats - nothing else.

If you can't maintain a mere Ballad + DEF reduction from Storm Song mastery, then there is something wrong with it. If you heal too few, that may be because of your lack of CRIT + CRIT DMG or lack of HEAL. Also, the Harp damage greatly affects your heal rate as well, so keep in mind using a strong harp if you intend to heal with it.

Same goes for Ninja - the main damage skill is Storm Blades, with Bloody Thorn, Kunai Storm and Swift Toss merely adding buffs. If your Stom Blades damage feels low, then it definitly is a gear issue. If maintaining buffs / debuffs while doing damage is an issue, it is either a matter of choosing too many things to maintain or simply to have too low speed.

Names are different from ps to os btw

But yea basically bard sub is one of the best fits for hs cause u get the -def% that hs lacks +more detail and some koo heals

Shuri and gren u can go for combos but tbh they are kinda meh but if u want em go for it.

Shuri sub is kinda krap tbh but yea if u do go it main skills u wanna use are blood corruption for the dmg boost shuri toss for -def storm skill for dmg and shuri storm for 10% detailed if u wish
