However, purchasing certain cores can be expensive, so I put up a tierlist (rank C, B, A, S)´with C being the lowest tier (in quality) and S being the highest from the community perspective (not taking official server results into account because they don't know anything besides Destroyer and Nocturnal anyways).
2% CRIT - Eagle (C)
2% SPD - Quick (C)
2% HP - Bloodstained (B)
2% DEF - Simian (C)
2% EVA - Ghost (C)
NOTE
Normal Stat Cores are the worst type of cores with only Barbed (for damage dealers) and Bloodstained (for tanks) being alternatives for the following cores.
15% CRIT DMG - Deadly (A)
15% ACC(uracy) - Fell (B)
20% chance of target’s CRIT -40% for 8s - Holy (C)
20% chance of target’s SPD -25% for 8s - Crippling (C)
20% chance of target’s DEF -10% for 8s - Destroyer (S)
20% chance of target’s EVA -25% for 8s - Binder (C)
20% chance to Knock enemy backward 5 meters - Breaking (B*)
20% chance to stun target for 2s - Shocking (B*)
20% chance to slow target for 5s - Stealth (C)
*only B-Tier if used properly as a switchable weapon, C-Tier if used fulltime.
EDIT:
All of the above effects (except stat cores) can be found in blue-quality weapons by times as well. I recommend using a sub weapon with blue quality as a Nocturnal weapon since it affects both main and sub skills. Additionally, it is fairly cheaper than any crafted weapon.
At level 80+ however, you will need two crafted weapons because of the newly added defense layer that can only be drilled through with PENETRATION weapons (level 80 crafted weapons).
Get all Element Harps because Nocturnal dont steel much on Bosses (30 % DMG Bonus against X Element they give , Level 58 and 68 Harps)
Your Level 60 Weapon should be a Green Level 60,5Star and 120 % on your element aaand maybe +9 with normal forti scrolls.
Everything else dont really matter, but if you play slow you should take the normal armor build,Devourer Armor Top and Lion Set Bottom.....level by MainQuest and Dailies/Mirabbele and learn your class.
Meanwhile farm Dragon Points (Sky Tower,Dungeons) for Sniper gear(you can buy them with Dragon Points now).Level 70 , use sniper and craft your Level 70 Main Weapon, make it 5 Star any maybe +9)...Level 80 and meanwhile try to get all Element Trophys/Emblems/Accesoiry for more detailed element dmg and at Level 80 you craft 2x Level 80 weapon.
with element dmg (dmg against x element, for example storm) you can increase your detailed dmg really really much.
30 % From Element Harps,15 % From Trophy , 12 % Emblem and 12 % from Hat and secret stones around +6 and another 30 % from accesoiry.
Thats a dmg increase against x element of 105 % without spending anything into fortification.
First of all, you completely failed the discussion. The question was about how the core type is determined while crafting. Instead, your first post was about general armor tips (that were not asked in this matter) and ADVANCED gearing (elemental harps, wtf). People use this with maybe their 2nd, 3rd or any further character, NOT ON THE BLO0DY FIRST ONE.
Second of all, if you CAREFULLY take a look at the thread...
You are telling a barely-experienced player about a crapton of stuff he has next to no idea about. Detail DMG? Elemental DMG? All the kinds of elemental gear, enchant cards, F-ING ELEMENTAL HATS? For crying outloud, this player is level 45 at the starting of this post!
Telling an abundance of detailed or advanced information at the start of one's journey will less likely help the player, it will more likely SCARE HIM / HER AWAY!
If I were in this position, I would probably quit right away because there is no oversight over all those things and it would overwhelm me. Mate, you are doing a TERRIBLE job at helping players.
Simple answers regarding the original poster's topic are easier to comprehend than giving a highly detailed list of things you actually need a lexicon for.
Sincerely,
Doe
Its pretty clear and everyone should understand the game mechanics pretty fast(1-2 days maybe).
All in all your speaking with someone on a gamer platform(steam) in a m mo game forum.
I expect some knowledge about DMG Systems in a MMO someone is playing.
But OKAY OKAY i am going on your level and next time i suggest them to make their Sigrun 3 Star(like many clueless people do) by just "exploring" the game right haha...
And you think Hero dont understand a simply DMG System ?
You do X DMG to a Boss with Bonuses from your Weapons/Armor.They give DMG Bonus and Critical DMG Bonus.DMG bonus has no limits while CRT DMG Bonus is capped at 300 %.
Many Bosses also have a spec. Element(Storm,Dark etc.) and you can boost your dmg against X element with the things i wrote.
Dont see any problem...the hardest part in this game is actually to READ and INFORM yourself...AND DONT SCREAM AT ME WEIRDO
btw you really think your first post helped somehow?it so confusing i did not even read it after i saw penetration system somewhere...its so important to know for a level 45 about PEN right?Omg
So the primary question was terminated. Additionally I wrote the tierlist of cores to check, how hard / expensive it might be to get certain cores from other players.
For the purpose of saving money on a nocturnal core, I recommended getting a blue-quality Nocturnal weapon for starters since the sub-class system allows us to use such a tool.
This part was made as a warning, that you wont be able to use that method forever due to the introduction of the penetration layer system.
I did my job here.
i know many people getting confused about this game mechanics but as long they are not short minded or really out of this world, they find out how detailed element dmg works, and thats its WAY WAY WAY cheaper to use element dmg up to level 80 than crafting and spending thousend of gold into 70 weapons..you actually dont even need to craft level 70 weapons rights now because there are 80 ones...a 5 Star 120 % Green Main Weapon +9 maybe is okay if you rush to 80...no need to get these stupid expensive cores for level 70 weapons...dont give people false information please no one craft 70 weapons anymore and buy overpriced cores for them........................
