Anyone that is pandering to you about how the game is alive is living in a state of denial. Twin Saga and Eden Eternal have had the plug pulled on them, and this game is probably next. This game is struggling to keep 100 players online daily. It would be a miracle if they decided not to shut down this game by the end of this year or early next year unless every single person playing is a whale. saddening.

I haven't really felt like playing it for a couple of months, didn't play long when I did, and didn't play for four months prior to that.
I'm just kind of stuck in the game at level 93 (goal is level 95) and don't really feel like farming dungeons for weeks at a time just to get a couple of levels in. Maybe I'll feel like farming exp in time but for now, I'm taking a long break from this game.

Woah, I have no idea what happened in June 2018 but the population pretty much halved on that point and it's getting lower. At least on Steam.
I am considering coming back but maybe it's not worth if they really pull the plug soon. (private server is pretty good from what I heard tho)
1) Upon making a character, no-one is visible to you, even though you know they're there. That's because seeing other people is on a toggle and it defaults to off :)
2) You've finally found how to see your friends, great! Let's try join a party, but err nothing appears upon inviting/being invited? You guessed it! Party invitations are on "decline" by default!
3) You're finally in a party with your friend! Let's go train and get some XP. But one of you isn't getting XP? That's because both players have to tag the enemy otherwise only one of you will get XP. This is supposedly to stop powerleveling, gotta love punishing players due to a minority!
4) Equipment is ♥♥♥♥♥♥, you're effectively given the equivalent to WoW's heirlooms at minute 1 so you almost never change equipment because the "heirloom" scales with you.
You'd get a more fulfilling experience on Stick Ranger from Danball.
Oh well, that's on them. If Aeria Games wants their MMO to keep losing players and driving away new players, then continue on I guess.
and of course they have to capitalize on every problem.
like when people ask them for exp fix, you know what they do? add another cash shop item that boosts exp gain.. bruuuh, you're supposed to make it free.
they basicly make million problems and sell solution to all of them in cash shop.
QOL doesn't exist at all. its like a medical company, just pay a little bit to stop suffering.
That's basically every MMO ever, though. It's also to stop people from just following around their friend and not really playing.
