Fusion Stones?

I got a 1-star equipment fusion stone as a drop and I just simply cannot figure out how to use the dang thing.

The description states "This crystal, infused with the strength of Gaia, can be fused to evolve certain materials. It can be fused with weapons with no stars to upgrade them to 1-Star."

Which SOUNDS simply enough, but I can't use it in equipment fortification or in the secret stone menu.

I'm really confused!

Ah, nevermind. It's "Star Level Evolution" at the blacksmiths. Spent 3 hours trying to figure this out and found it 5 minutes after posting lol
