I don't see the point dividing up half of your army on small maps where your ally will be more a nuisance than a blessing. And the fact you could take full responsibility for the actions you make instead of blaming another.
We played Panzer General in the past even in hotseat till a mod came out where we could play the entire campaign against eachother (and yes, we had plenty of time during the opponent's move but I won't call that boring at all)
In Civ people can play with more than one each representing a nation if I'm correct. The only time I played with teammates in the same army were board games. But the front and the map were so large, a move couldn't be done in one evening if you'd have played alone.
So you can chat with you teammate about tactics, you dont must click so much because a big army must not only managed from 1 person.
And a similar game like hearts of iron support more then 2 player too.
In this modern age it´s no argument to have only a 1vs1 multiplayer for an online-strategic game.
Panzer Corps was born to be a wonderful single player, as in sweet old style.
This game's okay, maybe do you wanted another War Thunder?
I think the gameplay will be much more better.Every tactic game makes much more fun to play in a team.
But o.k.,i will not the play game, for me it´s most important to to play multiplayer with teammates.
Panzer General is just a short step away from tabletop wargaming. Many of those are just 1 v 1 games, but there are some notable games with teams, the super-bloated Warhammer universe coming to mind first. But even elegant, streamlined wargames like Command & Colours you can play on teams.
I'm not against the idea of Panzer General team play, but I personally would never play it. I also think that the early maps are too constricted for team play, which means that to play the ealry war you'd need new maps. That's not an insurmountable difficulty, though.
You don't even own the game... What is your purpose?
That's why you compare this game with Hearts of Iron, he didn't even played this game a second...
I only search for a good strategic game where you must use your brain and Panzer Corps is great.
But for me it´s most important to have teammatches.I don´t like only to play alone, foe me it makes more fun to have a teammate,
For example you have 30 units so you must click a lot to move them all. With a teammate you have only 15 units and dn´t must click so much. And you can chat about next tactic with him.
Ok,let´s stop this here and have a lot of fun with Panzer Corps. But i will have a teammate to play in a team.
I hope a game like Panzer Corps will be released in future but wit a good multiplayer and for 2vs2 ore more.
