Installing DMP Mods in Steam version

Hi,

I just picked up the Steam version during the sale, and I'm trying to install the Ostfront, Pacific, Afrika, and Winterkrieg DMP Mods. The DMP mods ask for a few files to be copied from the Panzer Corps directory to the DMP directory, but the problem is, I'm not finding them in the Panzer Corps directory.

Example: panzercorps.txt

Anyone have any advice?

The panzercorps.txt stores you serial number but only for the retail version. I don't think the Steam version use an serial number rt they are stored in the registry? Have you tried to run it without it?
If the mod insist you could try to create a new text file and rename it to panzercorps.txt. Then make some number up.

I did try it without the missing files, and it produced an angry little text box with lots of German text, essentially asking me to kind supply the files, which I assume verify that I have a legit copy.

Sigh. This game needs Steam Works.

Steam Works wouldn't be much helpful in this case.
It's related how DMP packed the mod.

I got Pazifik Corps working fine here, what i did was this:

I Had my "MODS" folder from previous mods, i installed Pazifik Corps there:

-Copied all files Pazifik requires (if the file doesnt exist, it doesnt matter)

-Then copied these files to Pazifik Corps folder:

steam_api.dll
steam_appid.txt

-Launched game from the PanzerCorps.exe included in the mod folder.

-Played and won in the name of glorious Japan (its funny that the translation from german sometimes is messed up and creates a rather comic effect in the briefings).

Pls let us know if you can install the Dmp Mods,i thought myself to install the Ostfront Mod,maybe i try it on my own.

But i have an extreme Soundbug when moving Infantry,and no Background Music,think it has something to do with the current Patch version of the Steam Game.
