DLC vs gold
I own the base game, never played yet. Since the DLC is going away, what makes sense - buy some DLC now (all of it would be $25) or wait for the gold edition?

Gold edition of course, completely another experience with hundreds of hours of enjoyment!

Get the gold edition. Best value and least effort. It's also on sale.

Oddly enough, while I only had the base game, it now says gold version in library.

So far as I can tell, they just renamed the base game to "Gold" and made all the DLC so it cannot be purchased separately. They all still show up as separate items in the "Gold" package.

My Library also shows Panzer Corp Gold, but it also lists the DLC I purchased as separate items. When I look at the PC Gold "package", it shows the individual DLC as either "in Library" or "on Wishlist". Except they don't actually show up on my Wishlist (since they cannot be purchased), and requires console commands to remove and fix the wishlist count.

Wait, so 'gold' has all the DLC, but having gold doesn't mean you have the DLC?

Right.

So, if you were given 'gold', and not DLC, and want the DLC...

You have to buy the "Gold" package and be happy with paying for the base game and all your existing DLC again.

So actua;;y there isn't any way to buy any of the DLCs again? Because the "Gold" is seen as "owned" in my account.

You can buy the DLC by buying the "Gold" package on the Store page. You will not be given another copy of the base game (or any DLC you already own). The DLC you do not own will be added to your Library.

Because you bought the game previously, you will be getting a worse deal than new buyers.

Same here.
So we need to buy the "Gold" DLC pack to get the expansion packs?
