Possible to split stacks?

Is there anyway to only take a certain amount of a stack materials?

I don't have a middle mouse. And, before you comment I know I can buy a mouse with one. There are key bindings for everything except the middle mouse. Can't you make another key binding for it? there are lots of other keys we don't use. :) I can't split stacks, and I need to. Thanks in advance.
