OMG the hostages one is even worse than I thought, literally take around the same amount of time that i spent to do everything else.
Supposed to be a chill game, 3/4 of achievements unlock while playing through the story normally, this feels like wrong.
They're taking more time to complete than everything else in game put together, seems like a flaw to me.
Oh I will be trying that for sure, this is the most boring thing to do in the game hands down.
Edit: It works perfectly, thanks ! You saved me the unbearable waiting.
From 10 and 25 it's certainly better, but the main problem is how long it takes for the quest to pop back up on the board.
Even with the update you're still looking at 9 hours to do it normally, which is still more time consuming than any other achievements in the game.
Rooms wise, I already got into the habit of grabbing food and drink for the tables and bought a set of extra sheets so i can replace the sheets, add the food & drink to the tables then reopen the rooms.....
WHEN i remember to check the rooms that is... think i am around 17-20 for that achievement so far.. going to take a bit tho.. Just got to figure out how often the rooms get used to get the timing right on it lol
Before the rework of the hostage achievements it was at least taking 14 hours to complete, considering you can complete the entire game in less time i'd say it's not OK.
The hotel one shouldn't need that much guests imo, 100 is still a lot, but at least you can do it quicker, around 6/7 hours for it.
Still these are the 2 most grindy achievements the game has, for no real reason.
So this will reduce time as well when finding these.
You could find them even before the hostages quest, and I'm guessing they don't count toward the achievement, because it's specifically says "cages" hostage.
Only the one during the board quest are in a cage.
I think you're right, I saved two and my progress didn't increase. Oh well, nearly at 15 anyways. lol
