Can't find apples

Pretty much does it all. I've seen people find them on youtube and i've looked at probably 100 different trees but none of them have apples. Am I missing something?

idk. I found an apple tree by accident. I'm not sure if I did something to trigger a spawn or what. Now, I can't find any more of them. I know that didn't help. I was just pointing out that I feel your frustration

There is an Apple tree straight out to the right of your Tavern. not too far behind the Merchant. I get about 9 to 12 apples every time I pick them.

The apples can be seen in the apple trees, but the apples can look dark and shaded most of the time which makes them easy to miss. I know if you leave the tavern towards the merchant there should be 2 apple trees on the left of the tavern pretty close by. They're definitely easy to miss, but they have a unique trunk and branch structure so once you see one, study it a bit and look out for trees with that shape.
You have to look up into the branches of the tree to get the prompt to pick apples, so keep that in mind as well.
