do you have any tipps on how to solve this quest on your own? i'm just constantly dying haha. also the one where you have to touch the stone in the swamp. i have no chance on doing it alone, do i?

I somehow cheesed it...
I got into his room and went right next to the wall, so that I don´t activate him.
There are some stairs, if you climb up the stairs to jump over the stones on top of the grave in the back, you can shoot him from there without summoned ghouls etc reaching you.
You just have to avoide one or two shots from him.

i did both solo... As for both you want to make a few feather potions. Max HP and physical damage resist. speed and a musket..

As for the swamp, if you drink feather potion and jump on top of the alter that the enemies are attacking, you can just shoot them with musket and they wont hurt you.. there are several waves, and even if you for some reason, it will save your wave state. Some strats for example though, if the wolves spawn, you can drink speed potion and shoot all the wolves once to aggro them, they will stop attacking the stone and come after you, you can then circle around the stone in a big circle while shooting them. then use another feather potion if it ran out and jump on the stone again after triggering the next wave. when you get to the last waves, you go from protecting one stone to 3 stones.. but its all the same. I beat in on my third try solo. the first time i had no idea what to expect, the second time, i didnt prepare enough bullets or potions, but it saved my wave state.

As for the Cavern.. yea, if you use a light potion, speed potion, feather potion, max HP, Phy resist... and if you face the boss from the entrance, go to the left side, then up the stairs on the left and jump across to the left arch. while on top, non of the mobs can get you. the main boss will sometimes shoot purple orbs that home in on you, you can shoot those with the musket and they will disappear, and then you can go back to shooting the boss repeatedly till he is dead.. did that one on second try.. again, after going through it once, and learning how the mechanics of the event worked.

I cheesed it by climbing on the wall. He couldn't get me there and I could just keep shooting him with the musket
