Single player: this or Cozy Keep?
I know they are both slightly different, but they have a very similar look.
I like to be able to run around gathering materials in games, if that helps.
I don't do mp so as an sp only game what would people recommend?

i play solo its relaxing i mean sure you need to close the tavern sometimes :lunar2019piginablanket: but there is no stuff like a daly tax as exemple that hurry you to make money, the enemys are scaled for solo too :harveyastonished:

Personally, I think there is too much to do for a single player. Sure, you have no time limits, but you feel rushed/overwhelmed anyway, not knowing where to start with all the tasks.
If you can ignore a heap of tasks and work on them one after the other without feeling bad, then it's a problem you won't have. I can do that at work just fine but I don't want it in my games.
I don't know Cozy Keep so I can't compare the games.

Ok, two pretty different opinions. I'll go watch some let's plays, although most of the ones I've noticed for this game do seem to focus on the mp side of it.
Cheers.

I only ever did sp on this game and it was fine. I gather loads of materials, then cook a bunch of stuff and store it in chests close to the display tables that your helpers pick up the food from. Then open the shop and just keep replacing the food as my workers take it to the people until I am sold out then I close the store and do it all over again.

I have like 30 seats setup, you can do however many tables you feel comfortable with.

The game does not have the best singleplayer experience, I played he whole game in singleplayer, at some point you are gonna have to keep closing constantly to stock up, you are not gonna have time to plant and cook at the same time. Serving the tables is not a problem cause the helpers are gods at serving customers and cleaning tables (you do have to keep refiling the water in the auto washer tho, thats a whole other problem tho).
So NO the game is not very singleplayer frendly unless you wanna have very little variety and very little tables

Just finished the game. Played with 2 friends. It was unexpectedly very fun to play in Coop. Whole story took us less than 10 hours (final quest + tavern level 22). Closed tavern may be 2-3 times.
Sound like very short game, but this is exactly enough to interact with every aspect in the game and don't do repeatable stuff.
Playing solo definitely not a good idea.

I think you can do it solo! I’m about 13 hours in, and have 29/56 achievements all by myself 😄 I am shutting down the tavern to re stock, but I like that aspect makes it more realistic and I’m not making making so much money super fast either, I can enjoy it
