This game and "Tavern Manager Simulator"

The two look... suspiciously similar. Do we know if these two are the same game with a few assets swapped? Even the cover art is basically the same with a few different keywords in the AI prompt.

I really enjoyed First Pints, but seeing this other game that looks almost identical is making me hesitant to spend money on an asset flip game.

Devs have said on discord that this one (Ale & Tale Tavern) is made by hand, the other one i heard have obvious AI assets. They also said this game (Ale & Tale Tavern) was in development for a year before they heard about the other game (Tavern Manager).

He didn't mean yours, he meant Tavern managers. I've been following your devs on Twitter for a while; it's how I found out about you in the first place.

Made by hand does not mean much, i can place assets by hand as well in a game world. It is clear that both these companies used store bought assets. One just put a little bit more time into the whole gameplay loop.

Whats with all the similar looking tavern management games lately? There's this one and "Tavern Manager Simulator" and "Tavern Master" (I think this is the original one) and "Inn Tycoon". All of them look completely the same.

...no, Tavern Master is completely different. In that game, you have no in-game avatar and just run the tavern from an abstract position of ownership.

No, it doesn't.

If you want to say something like this, you should give at least some examples of why it is AI, but why bother... Right?
