Can I start a fresh character...you know like 99.9% of all other games ever made all you to do?
If so, how can I do this? I've tried everything, but nothing works, thanks for your help.

I'm assuming you already went through the 3 Prestige levels in the game? When you upgrade to the next Prestige level, it resets equipment, abilities and missions, I believe, essentially a reset. If you want a "true" gamesave reset, then hopefully BulkyPix's suggestion still works.
