What were your suggestions to Suspicious Developments in their poll?
So the devs posted a poll on their Twitter asking for feedback.

Below the available options was a text section to write suggestions in. What did you write? What did you want to see, what did you want to change?


I personally wrote more than I would typically write in a college paper, but I think they are pretty sound suggestions. I'll link them in this pastebin, let me know what you think:

You mean for the entire ship? I did an entire playthrough, start-to-finish, and didn't see a single one, actually. I didn't even know they were a thing until I googled the Glitcher's Tick.

Yeah. I've seen two in eight playthroughs.

I've played about 75 hours and I think I saw one once. I also just today saw Fiasco's Facebreaker for the first time, but it was during a defector mission so I didn't get to keep it. For a long time I thought there was a special story thing you had to do to unlock it. I've never seen the Multiball.

I don't have a spaghetto twitter, please suggest for me to add some frayed wiring, sparks, flickering lights to adjacent modules when holes are blasted from ships, that would be great.

I have to tell you, I was suprised when a ship split in two after I got a seemingly impossible mission through liberate, it had a terrible time limit with zero posibility to reach the pilot in time, no matter how many retry random layout generation, by accident I blew the ship in two.

That allowed me to finish the mission by connecting to two different spinning pieces via pod 11/10 on holywood scale, but what made me a little sad was when there was no sparks or flickering from the gaping areas, you'd never know the ship broke in two, besides the holes.

tl;dr add flicker/spark/frayed wires when ship is missing bits and bobs

I do like the suggestion to add better visuals for when a ship is damaged, you can even throw in better visuals for non-starting docking ports as sometimes they are too faded that I don't even notice them half the time (but I do memorize some of the positions they can spawn at).

I suggested that rather than add a hardcore difficulty they add a series of difficulty options (similar to XCOM: Enemy Unknown had). This way players can customize what features they do or don't want to use rather than being locked in to a single default set up.
