Is there an end?

loved GunPoint, so tempted to buy this, but I'm wary of rogue-like games that just go on and on until you get bored and haven't got an actual end.

Has this game got a defined end or does it just keep giving you randomly generated missions?

When you liberate all the stations I think it ends. Then you can start a new galaxy if you wish. Each liberation unlocks new things, so the game progressively gets easier, although the enemies do get tougher.

The ending "ends the game" and you can't go back and finish off anythin gyou want to do otherwise. The ending series of events is a 'Mission' you ge from Fiasco and it will be clear that it's the endgame.

Do everything that you want to in that galaxy before talking to her.

If you start a new galaxy in the same slot, it keeps all your Legends Wall.

You can talk to her and get all of the story stuff without losing your galaxy; the dialogue option that ends the game is clearly marked.
