No audio when game boots.

Hi. This is something that has started happening since the latest update. The game starts up, but there is no sound. I have to exit the game and steam and try again. It seems to be random as to whether the sound comes back with the next reboot. Thanks.

Audio normally starts after you select your character.

Yes, however it doesn't start at all. If I quit both the game and steam a couple of times, it usually comes back within 2 or 3 reboots. Very strange.

I have the same problem, I just bought this game but cant really enjoy it. It doesn't seem to matter how many times i reboot, I just simply have no sound for this game. All my other games on steam have sound.

Have you tried toggling the music icon there at the bar to see if changing the tune works? Tried check the music level in the options? Tried making sure the windows sound mix hadn't reduced the volume?

Try running the tutorial from the menu and see if you hear any sound, if you do, open the menu (esc) again and click skip tutorial, then see if it works in the bar when you select a character.

If those things don't work, try verifying the game content files through steam to make sure nothing is corrupted.
