For the most part, 9/10 that I find are in the mystey crates.
How I got my best char full of them is kinda only a 1 time thing, but I had earned 2 liberation points, and on the start of a char, i liberated 2 of the stations that give 100 oil each. then bought those mystery crates right off the bat.
Another great combo i found is 2 self charging visitors. if you use a 2nd visitor before the 1st catches you, you warp back to your orig spot, then you get warped back to the spot you used the 2nd. great way to teleport without having to swap with people.
I am wanting to find 4+ extream range visitors to try and blink accross a whole ship lol.
"tho with a rechargeable slip stream + extream range key cloner there was basicly 0 difficulty to begin with"
Brought back memories of playing Nightcrawler in X-men Legends.
Stealth shields and sidewinders might be the next. A self-charging sidewinder w/ three or five charges is great for both slaughter (Corvo Attano, eat your heart out) and for ghosting. Stealth shields are trickier to use being directional, but still very good.
Personally, I'd say a self-charging Subverter is the best thing you can get. It lets you unlock doors, turns shields and turrets into things that help you, and nullifies almost all other guard enhancements - that's the vast majority of the game's challenges almost completely negated. All on its own, it can make a Mistake-class mission feel like a Medium-difficulty one, at least if the difficulty was mostly from shields and turrets.
A self-charging extreme-range swapper is also very powerful, since it lets you traverse the ship very quickly and pull the pilot out with little effort, granting you unlimited time on almost every mission. I had a character with two self-charging swappers earlier; it made everything feel trivial. Just about any group of guards can be bypassed by attracting their attention, then swapping with the one in the back and going on your way while they fruitlessly explore where you used to be.
Run from the start of a ship to the end while grabbing keys and just outright ignoring any guards as they are harmless in 5-10 seconds ingame.
Basicly you become a immortal where bullets and all move so slowly they are 0 threat,
You dont have to worry about people noticing you as there is nothing they can do about it,
Any timelimit is extended 10 fold so even 15 seconds can be like 150.
Had 3 rechargeable high cap slip streams and did my personal mission of steal the item in about 8 ingame seconds without even needing to slow down.
Combat wise with one you can start taking out rooms of 10-20 men with a wrench so i'd say thats a drastic improvement,
Ignore all shield/armor guys (who are op anyway) just focus on keys and getting to target.
Slipstream + extream range key cloner = run to target, run out 0 effort, 0 risk.
that ♥♥♥♥ was great!
Doesn't make them last longer for the enemies though, they still only get 2 seconds of you being around. But for YOU, those 2 seconds let you do 6 to 10 seconds' worth of actions, while taking 11 to 20 seconds to do so (plus pause time).
