Alternately, space 'em so they suffocate.
Really? I assumed the dead-man switch would go off anyway... didnt want to risk it.
I wouldn't wear it, knowing that someone opening a door in my face could mean everyone gets 'hotmatrixx' flavoured jam
It is a fun game mechanic though.
Edit: If you're picturing one of those hand-held buttons that they have to keep depressed at all times... I guess thats a bit too low tech for a future space game, I hadnt even considered it.
He means that if it was a deadman switch, it would go off if you got KOed then executed. And it doesn't. It's built into the armour. If a lethal attack penetrates the armour (light weapons on enemies without proper armour, and lethal AP attacks on armoured targets), it detonates. If they get KOed, all bets are off and you can get in close and murder with no issues.
