Text size / UI scaling?

I love this game but reading the names of things is a pain and I would be forever grateful if the devs would add a text scaling option to the settings menu. or if anyone knows a way to do that, given the game seems to just run at your native resolution

Second this. I guess workaround would be to change your desktop resolution but that's hardly ideal.

Bumping and requesting screen resolution size as well. So far I can tell I am going to enjoy the game a lot, but I will admit that the graphic/text/char art/ menu have a lot of room for improvement.

I absolutely agree 2560x1440 is already nearly unreadable

I've got the opposite problem, I want to play on a tiny screen but the UI fills the entire screen, overlapping each other and just making a giant mess any time I hover over anything or press space.

Also longing for this kind of option. Having great trouble reading things even in the tutorial. If the text gets any smaller, I need to have my nose pressed to monitor.

Yep, tried to play it today on a 50 inch 4K TV and the text was close to unreadable.

If you reduce your screen resolution before starting the game, the relative size of the UI will change. I recognize that this is a terrible workaround and that a proper UI Scaling option is needed.

I'm guessing with this being an issue for over a year now it won't be getting changed =/

New update just added an option to fix this, can go from 50% scaling to 200% scaling!

Currently, to see this option, you need to be on the beta version.
Steam -> Library -> Heat Signature -> Right click Properties -> (tab) Betas -> nextversion
Then in game:
Pause menu -> Options -> Technical Options -> View Scaling (starts as Auto, click inside to alter %)

200% is certainly better than 100% but it's still just shy of comfortable for me.
Could we maybe get a max of 300% or 400%?

I agree I got this to casually play with controller on the TV and 250+ % would be good. Also a way to change the font to something more readable at a distance (more round)
