That kind of defeats the perpose of the pod though. The down sides are just too extreame, you make the ship freak out, it costs 20 more, and you have to do that little minigame to stabilize your ship. I mean seriously thats too much downsides, then you add the fact you need to come at it like a RKKV...
I feel like they could have done this a lot better like...
1. Make ships have heavly armored area's and soft areas, And if a pilot manages to hit those areas [usually placed inbetween armored ones on larger ships] the pod won't be damaged and they will dock instantly, Since you control where the armor is they can't breach in right next to the objective just a lot closer thanks to piloting skill.
2. Make it unable to pierce hulls but instead make it able to destroy thrusters, But if you miss and hit the hull you'll damage the pod, This would let skilled pilots take a more skilled approach to disabling the capture timer and allowing a very loud and higher impact play style.
Basicly I would have liked this pod to be one that rewarded skill with piloiting rather than being a pod that let you bypass needing skill in piloiting like the others.
Honestly, just hijack any random ship and ram the target with it instead. It will work fine, like the Brick used to, before the nerfs.
