From what I've seen so far in the demo, the game doesn't have an awards system for released films. Like in real life, a kind of "Oscar" or "Golden Globes" would be very interesting to see this in the game, as in each one there would be different awards for films/actors for different film companies

I bet they will be in the final game. In the info box of a distributed film there is "Awards and Nominations".

In the Hollywood Animal announcement trailer - around 3:14. There is a quick shot of what is called the Pollux awards - the equivalent of the Oscars, in which your actors/directors and movies can win annual awards.

Sadly it is not available in the current demo, but hopefully should be in the early access release

Quick google lookup, but the first Oscars was in 1929. It was a private affair, though.
The first broadcasted one was in 1930, by radio. It wasn't until the 50s where it was televised.
