impossible to win any awards other than Best Picture
In the new version of the game, it's impossible to win any awards other than Best Picture — not even a nomination. even tried with save and reload for many times

In spite of their reluctance to admid it, it's still bugged. That's heavily affect the Boutique path
I have had actor and actress nominated for Best actor/actress, and i had the actor win best actor. While the movie he did, did well in the box office he is a mediocre actor. I did notice at the time that the actor/actress were nominated by how high the Critic score was of the movie they did that year.

one of my writers win Pollux 1937

The script was 5 or 6 ..... but this is very realistic, the hollywood academy has accustomed us to this kind of thing.
nice
Won best female actor, so no it isn't impossible. Does it feel like it's unfair? Sure, but I bet the Oscar's doesn't feel very fair either.

Aside from acting awards, i play the Boutique, and the second mission requires a single film to win five awards, which makes this impossible to complete. My save has progressed to the year 1945, and aside from Best Picture and the one tiem Best Screenplay nomination, I haven’t received anything else. Meanwhile, AI opponents with a director rating of just 6.0 can win Best Director for seven years on the rolls.

Also, the developers only fixed the bug where award-winning films had duplicate names, but fundamentally, AI opponents still release movies with the same names year after year. These duplicate-titled films can still be nominated repeatedly before they win anything, which really frustrates me.

In the previous version, bugged films with a 9.9 rating couldn't make any money, but they were guaranteed to receive award nominations. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case in the current version.

Well, I call my Irish Friends, to help with any Character, who wins an Pollux and is not working for me, increases drastically the Chances, that my Characters win a Pollux.

You have to kill the Characters, who has own a Pollux, because there is an Bug, that the Pollux always go to the same Character again, if alive.

Before and after the patch, I produced 5-6 films per year with A+ ratings, ratings between 8.5 and 9.9, 9+ actors and crew, 3-4 5-star ratings in the comments, box office receipts between 20 and 60 million per film, and not a single nomination. Something's not right.
After further testing I can say that winning a Pollux for best actress was a one-off. Have only ever been nominated once since then and not won.
yup, I am encountering the same thing... I am consistently getting 15m profits, 9.9 rating.. I have all 3 movies in the "best movie" category, but NO nominations in the other categories. totally impossible to get the 2nd boutique requirement.
I routinely had an actor in competition with himself, it's definitely bugged.

I imagine that's why it's "early access" and not full release.....

Maybe they should put it in the bug section.

Wait, there is no bug section so they've brought it up to be addressed here.

I imagine that why it's in the forum section and not the bug section.
