I agree that it's not as powerful as the others - suffers from having essential pieces of the puzzle gated behind research (all the in-house post production, sequels, etc), and it's very difficult to get trash made without being expelled from the alliance.
I've heard a lot of people talk about getting expelled on purpose, but as far as I can tell, it also locks you out of the increased ticket price policy. This is absolutely massive. I'm guessing this will be less of an issue once the theatre management system is fully implemented?
Once you release the sequels and unlock the first two achievements you can attach a previously released trash film on a double feature, which is neat.
I've been able to keep all of the good talent as well, you get all that new cheap talent in 1935, etc.
I am not sure about the last achievement though, release a film with a Pollux winning star. Does this mean you have to win the Pollux with your movie, or just have someone who has won one previously cast in the film? Wining a Pollux means rejoining the Alliance, and all that seems like a hard sell. Anyone know about this requirement?
- first time a warning
- second time 3 million pushiment
- third time they kick you out
You're able to rejoin later and start the cycle again ;-)
25 movies in 3 month was too much for me
