Game length
Currently, the demo only allows us to play to 1932. How far into the future will this game take place? Are we going to be making films into the modern day?

Oh I can answer this!

Act 1 will take 20 years and be the first part released in EA. Acts 2 and 3 will come later, but I'd estimate they'd probably be about the same game length time. I think they talked about the possibility of an Endless mode in the most "recent" Q and A, but cannot confirm this.
