Question on actor salaries
So I understand that writers, editors etc are on monthly contracts. What does it mean when actors/producers have 'Contract conditions 3 yrs (until....) $50k. Is that $50k monthly?

Also, why is it impossible to find any editor or composer above 2 stars? Only played for a couple years on a play through. Do any become available later on or do you just have to level them up inhouse?

Any advice is much appreciated

the number you see, is the total you pay. for either an amount of films, or an amount of years.

Good questions. There is no good breakdown of salaries. I assumed as well, that I pay 50k for 3 years, that's only 1.3k a month which is a good deal for me getting a good actor. But then I see my costs for salaries a month go to 200k. How come, who is getting paid so much? Valid question for the composers and editors as well.

You can wait. When Hitler began to purge Jews, there will be a 8.0/9.0 writer and a lot of good staffs. And in 1940s I signed 2 good writers from other companies. By the way I'm not sure about its name since I'm not playing English edition, but if you choose boutique you can view the limit of your writer, mine is 5, 7, 9. Boutique will also unlock a building to improve the level of any film related staffs, you can also send your writers there.

Ah yup, that makes sense. Obviously the movie amount would increase but didn't test the yearly amount.

i'm assuming that, i havent gone too deep into checking it.

but you do get a discount for more movies or years most of the time.

3 years is 200% more time than 1 year, but the adjustment made to their ask, based on the years, is 150% more.

The whole money aspect isn't really explained too well when it's clearly the main area you need to focus on. I know you definitely need to comb through your starting staff and fire all the overpaid execs etc. when you can. Maybe the monthly amount is impacted by signing bonuses or something but then it's not very clear. Just a lot of trial and error to start. I'm sure a few bug fixes and tooltip updates will be in the near future.

There's a lot of detail to the game and I'm really enjoying it. Just needs a lot of polish.
