Tip for anyone struggling with police raids
Seen a few people struggling with police raids, figured I'd share a tip from the demo that'd help for those of you who don't wanna or can't be buddy buddy with the cops. (Disclaimer: worked in demo, no idea if it works in full game but SHOULD do)

After the first one, you should get a notice from one of your staff saying you can put someone on it. When you do, head over to your security building and look at the options for the building.

There should now be one about police that you can use to put a guy on the inside. Do that and any time you are about to be raided, he will give you advance warning and you will get the chance to hide or destroy anything that can get you in trouble, or legal gifts as well. Destroying it costs nothing but obviously loses the thing, but you won't get fined for it which might be good if you have a lot of, say, illegal gifts. Hiding it until they leave is the better option, but generally costs a resource like IP. It was a small amount in the demo, no idea if they changed it for full game.

You can also use the guy to try and bribe the police into not raiding you at all, though this has a chance to backfire.

Can confirm this works in the full game.
The problem with police raids is not the illegal stuff, but that they take all your legal stuff too, watches, cigars, and some of your money. It's just like in real life where the cops "confiscate" people's money because they suspect it is for illegal purposes.

Right, but that's exactly the stuff you can hide with the above-mentioned method.
Your security bloke at the police station warns you that there's a raid coming in like ten days, and you get a screen with some options for what to do with all your stuff. (things along the line of: destroy your watches or for 10 influence points temporarily give them to a museum, etc.)

I doubt you can hide all of your money and thats my main problem that everytime the 6 months no raids expires they start raiding, grabbing (stealing)some money because it looks "suspicious" and beat up one or two employees on their way out just because they can with some excuses popping up.
It's a plain stupid mechanism which shows that the devs LOVE making the players miserable by adding tons of negatives in the game like 99% with 1% chance to get something good out of anything in the whole game.

If you make the movie for the police chief, he will be your friend and you can stop all raids for 5 CP points for 6 months
