Removing finished movie from release schedule
I can't figure out if there's a way to do this?

I'm at the point where the morality police recently banned some themes while this movie was already in production.

It gave me a warning about the banned theme when trying to confirm its release schedule/advertising.

It's just a low budget clunker, so I'd prefer to shelf the movie, or even completely scrap it, rather than getting kicked out of the Academy. But there doesn't seem to be a way to get it off the schedule planning page.

(I never confirmed it, so I can still drag it around and keep pushing it back on the schedule, but this is obviously a clunky and annoying workaround, and also keeps the film's producer "busy preparing for release.")

Agreed, this would be a very nice to have feature.
Is it your first movie that breaks the rules? You can just release it and get a warning.

Cheers, that's good to know.

I restarted though. I was churning out trash from the Ideas-pile for small profits without really looking at the details and shortly after my OP I ended up with two more rule-breakers on the schedule, and that became too annoying to deal with. :)

As long as you don't hit confirm on the distribution schedule, it will just sit there at end of post.

That's fine for now, but ultimately we'd want to be able to shelve/archive a movie at any time before release.
At filming results on the left side next to the name of the movie is a trash can symbol. You click that and the movie will be destroy and the script will go back into the pile for use.

Trash can icon only comes up on the final page at each completion.
