Tempest Cliff Blade Nexus Missing

I played the demo and really liked the game, so I bought it and transferred my save. I want to grind the Soul Eater set from the boss at Tempest Cliff, but that Blade Nexus is missing from the Spectral Portal. Each time I have to travel to Ice Canyon and then fight my way through the last Trial. I've read that making a new game fixes the issue, but I already have 16 hours in the game and I don't want to have to do it all again. I didn't even know it was a bug until one of my friends asked me why I was going so far back to fight the boss.

no reason to do that. the sidequest against keshta that you immediately have access to after entering the crevice also drops the soul eater set
