i defeated elamein 55x now to get her set. i dont know how long it took to get me the weapon in violet , i missing the glows in violet and the ring is completly missing AFTER 55x ... are you kidding ? i have 1 million lacrima ... THANKFULLY you didnt put a cap on it.

i know , the fanboys will know say "look at him crying about grinding" yeye...

but after 20x you should have EVER ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ITEM OF THE SET ... maybe not everything in violet.... ok .... BUT EVERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PIECE !

Bro, her set's craftable. I forget which level it is, but you can find an item later on that allows the blacksmith to make all her gear in whatever rarity you want/unlocked. I'm sorry to say this but you did this to yourself.

To get all mats for crafting boss sets, you still have to kill bosses around 20 times. And then you want to get some for NG+, so you gotta farm them 20 more times. Because for now the mats are not a guaranteed drop, so you can fight a boss five times and get only 1 mat dropped.
The grind in this game is actually insane.
oh, and you don't get the recipe until much later. Some recipes you wait for half a game to get. This is also kinda insane.

you just need to learn to give up... you will never get what you want in life or in this game so you just have to do with whats available. When I was young I was like you, trying to farm a set from volibano but after 5 tries I realized that this is just stupid, next mission any trash gear will be better than this so called set, just run around with w/e you find. Now Iam all grown up lvl 130 really strong fully equipped running around with just gloves and a pot on my head.

I assume you mean the specific crafting mat for her set, in which case you're half right. Drop chance isn't great, for the mats or her gear, however there's a variant fight of her that has a higher drop chance for everything, on top of that a late game item pickup for 3 of her mats just sitting there.

I'll give you that it's annoying to go through if you want her set immediately, but if you don't wanna tear your hair out in frustration dealing with drop chances like OP, the game naturally gives you the ability to make the gear if you're patient.

one - I've farmed all of the alternatives and the chances are not that great.
two - not all fights have alternatives. Only slightly more than half of the bosses have a second variant fight. Good luck farming Hismar for his horn or Reese. Won't even mention the final one.

her ring does not drop from the fight you're doing (for reasons), you either craft it when you get the bp, or get naturally it later. and farming her that many times to try to get pieces in specific mid tier rarities you'll grow out very quickly is a bit ocd my dude. if you were just trying to get that ring to complete the set and it got out of hand though, I feel for you, I farmed her probably 20 times trying to get the full set before finding out it would never drop.

Also, for those who don't know, you can buy 3 of each rare crafting material from the jar vendor. The more jars you find, the more boss drops he'll have available for purchase. You can basically get half the crating mats from him for lacrima and cut the grind pretty significantly that way.
