The post was edited at the same time as I put it up because I put "End of NG++" It irrelevant really, I gave no misinformation how to get legendaries. It's easier in NG+ at the end, and epics are easier to get overall, by just getting to NG+.

farming for sets at the end of hte game is far more intuitive than waiting for a ng. for one, you don't have access to the bosses if you need their mats in order to make the gear. if i decided i wanted a full fleshripper set but i just started a ng and didn't have the requisite 6 dragon claws i'd be SOL until i got to the end of the game to farm him again. you could always just farm the boss mats prior to starting ng++, but then you could get into the game and realize the set sucks and so you want to try another boss set. only problem is you didn't farm those mats so you're back to square one

also another consideration for legendaries is you can't craft the material at the end of ng+. you could craft epic crafting materials at the end of ng. as a result the only way to craft a full set of fleshripper would be to farm leggos and salvage them for their requisite mats.

Legendaries don't drop till NG++, but flesh ripper normal or epic? Yeah, I've had both.

They do drop. Got several legendaries already, but only 1 piece of Fleshripper. Farming them right now.

No, they don't. Epic drops near the end of the game on NG, Legendary drops near the end of the game on NG+

That is Epic, not legendary. They have similar coloration. Just look at the bottom of the gear and it will say Epic.

Honestly, I'd just wait till NG+, because you can make epic's at that point. Outside of that? Luck from drops on elites lol.

Killing this elite for a few hours...giving up soon lol.

You're better off farming for Hismar's material, when you got enough move on to NG+ then craft the epic gear.

no, legendary drops (always the same with some variant) in NG+ too, Only in the last mission, elite enemies. he can craft a legenedary fleshripper set farming that way, elite enemies respawn if u change mission and go back, can do thate endlessly and is a guarateed drop.
